Afghanistan keep on improving but they face a tough task in their first T20 World Cup. They play India and England, they won’t be expecting to win but they defiantly can get a lot out of these two games as Afghanistan seek higher class opposition which will help them improve as a squad and individually. Hamid Hassan makes a return from injury for Afghanistan which will be a huge boost for the squad since he is such an important member of the team. The wicketkeeper Mohammed Shahzad will be vital with the bat since he is a consistent performer and is a clean hitter of the ball who can worry the stronger bowlers in the group.

Afghanistan v India – September 19
Afghanistan v England – September 21
Afghanistan have a tough group and I don’t see them getting close to India or England in their group stages to even think about advancing to the Super 8′s.
