Australia vs Pakistan 1st T20 Preview – 5th September
Australia were eventual winners of the ODI series against Pakistan as they eventually cruised to a win in the 3rd ODI after looking like they were gone. The teams will be slightly different for the T20′s and it will be a good practise match for the upcoming T20 world cup in Sri Lanka. Shane Watson will have his first taste of international cricket for a few weeks as he looks to gain some form for the World Cup. Saeed Ajmal will be hungry for success in the next few weeks after he was left out of the short list for the ICC Cricket of the year.

Shane Watson is the most important player in this Australian team, the opening pair of him and Warner can be deadly at their best but they both haven’t been in good form together. Saeed Ajmal has been fantastic over the last year taking plenty of his wickets and being rated the best spinner in the world. Shane Watson hasn’t been able to have as much of a successful career in the T20 Internationals but his stats in all T20 formats are deadly with a strike rate over 140. Ajmal has had his own success, he only goes for a touch over 6 runs per over and has 59 wickets from 39 matches.
