3rd Test: Pakistan vs Australia in Sydney, Jan 4, 2017, Cricket Highlights.

Australia declared on 538/8 on the second day of the Third Test, meaning Pakistan had the challenge of batting for more than a day in order to stay in the hunt for the match and avoid the embarrassment of a whitewash. The losses of Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam for four and a duck didn't help things at all, meaning the redoubtable Azhar Ali had to again be relied-upon to temper any attacking instincts and provide an anchor for his side. He reached stumps not out for 58, and will start the third day partnered by Younis Khan, currently on 64 after an intrepid knock that saw him score seven fours against a tiring attack that looks to be lacking a certain bite.

Australia, reliant on Josh Hazlewood's bowling so far, looks like a bowling line-up in need of a rest, but certainly the likes of Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon can make further progress as the pitch changes tomorrow.
