Bangladesh vs Pakistan 1st T20 Preview

PICTURE TITLEPakistan have been having some strong results lately after all this controversy but now they face the weaker challenge of Bangladesh who are full of surprises. Pakistan have the odd tenancy to lose against the lower class team so have old habits finally been wiped or will Bangladesh be able to take out the 1st T20. Tamin Iqbal will be the key player in the T20 as his batting has not been up to scratch of late and Bangladesh need him to perform.

Match Information :

November 29, Mirpur
Starting Time: 1700 Local Time

How the Teams Stand:

Bangladesh are capable of good things when they can get good contributions from their players and this may be a good chance to pick up a win during this series. Pakistan has a habit of losing the odd game to a lower ranked team when they are on the ball but they look the strongest they have been in years and should dominate the inexperienced Bangladesh team. Discipline has been a bonus feature of this Pakistan team and they are yet to lose a bilateral series this summer and will be hoping to keep that record intact. Bangladesh have surprised a few teams in the T20’s but surely Misbah Ul-haq’s men are prepared for this match.

Between these two teams in a T20 match the result should come down to a brilliant individual performance. Pakistan have plenty of youth and will challenge for the top spots in the rankings in the coming years. Mohammed Hafeez and Imran Farhat have been brilliant at the top of the order and have got Pakistan off to that quick start that makes or breaks a innings. The bowling for Pakistan is just as good with Saeed Ajmal claiming the top bowler in ODI cricket and will like to pick up a bag of wickets against Bangladesh. Tamin Iqbal has a big role to play as he has been struggling with his form and when he does well Bangladesh do well as he is deadly if he can get past a start but that hasn’t occurred too often since the World Cup.

Team News:

The XI that Pakistan played against Sri Lanka should be playing here but they may be tempted to play Younis Khan to get some match practise behind him.
