Bangladesh are still intact and are still a possible chance of facing Pakistan in the final of the Asian Cup which is a surprise to many while Sri Lanka have no chance being winless at this stage.

How the Teams Stand:
It is the last match in the Asian Cup before the final takes place but all that is certain so far is that Pakistan are in the final. The 2nd spot in the final will be decided by this match, if Bangladesh manage to beat Sri Lanka by quite a margin they will play in the final surprisingly but if the home side lose to Sri Lanka India will be in the final. Bangladesh have been the surprise in this tournament and even though they have won 1 out of 2 matches they have played some very good cricket. Bangladesh cricket is looking very bright at the moment while Sri Lanka’s is looking dim. Sri Lanka have a world class batting line-up but as soon as you look at the bowlers you can tell that is their weakness besides Lasith Malinga who isn’t in the greatest of form.
Since Sri Lanka are only playing for pride and reputation against Bangladesh they need to some how fix all these problems they are facing which are forcing them to lose. Sri Lanka need a good spinner and they are struggling to make a choice between several players. Prasanna was given 2 matches but he has failed to impress while Herath didn’t do well in Australia and Senanayake could be the one who can change things for Sri Lanka with his variations. Tamim Iqbal has had a huge influence on how Bangladesh have performed. Over the last year Bangladesh have struggled to string partnerships together and that has resulted in many losses. The regain of form from Tamim Iqbal is good signs as Bangladesh will pose more of a threat.
Dhaka has provided a batsmen friendly pitch all series and doesn’t look like changing one bit after all the matches have been played here.
Bangladesh should remain unchanged after securing a win against India.
Bangladesh (likely) 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Nazzimuddin, 3 Jaharul Islam, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (capt and wk), 5 Shakib Al Hasan, 6 Mahmudullah, 7 Nasir Hossain, 8 Mashrafe Mortaza, 9 Abdur Razzak, 10 Shahdat Hossain, 11 Shafiul Islam.
Prasanna hasn’t had a great series with the ball and might play Senanayake instead who did well in Australia.
Sri Lanka (possible) 1 Mahela Jayawardene (capt), 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Dinesh Chandimal, 5 Lahiru Thirimanne, 6 Upul Tharanga, 7 Angelo Mathews, 8 Farveez Maharoof, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara, 10 Lasith Malinga, 11 S Senanayake.
