A International comeback looks on the cards for South African great Jacques Kallis as he has been announced in the squad that will fly to Sri Lanka in September. Kallis has previously played in the T20’s for South Africa which was all the way back in 2010. Kallis has been quite successful in India’s IPL as he bats in the top order for the Kolkata Knight Riders and scored 409 runs in 17 matches this season.
The final 15 squad that will fly to has AB de Villiers named as the captain. The provisional 30 man squad included Graeme Smith but he hasn’t made the final cut to fly to Sri Lanka for the T20 World Cup. The Duo Steyn and Morne Morkel who are often rested in T20’s will play in the event.
The 21 year old Marchant de Lange who has plenty of promise unfortunately hasn’t been able to make the squad due to a lower back injury.
