Kevin Pietersen has fully pledged his commitment to playing international cricket for England after their was some doubt on whether he would continue his international career. He has committed to play in all formats for England despite retiring from One Day Internationals only a few months ago. Pietersen has also apologised for his poor behaviour in which he was involved in several dressing room rifts.
The ECB squad for the 3rd Test was meant to be announed at 9:30am on Sunday but now has been delayed to 2:30pm which suggests a meeting has been scheduled to decide whether to pick Kevin Pietersen or not. Pietersen has on the verge of being dropped by England after he and the other English team members were divided.
“I want to commit to all forms of cricket for England because I love playing for England,” Pietersen said. “I am wanting to play all three forms of cricket again for England: the ODIs against South Africa in a couple of weeks and the T20 World Cup if I am selected. I want to make myself available for every single format of cricket for England.”
Pietersen has also guaranteed he will not play in the next season of the IPL and instead focus on his International future with England. In a interview he has retracted a lot of comments he made in a emotion 2nd Test interview and has also stated he will come back to play in the ODI’s despite announcing his retirement from the format in May.
