Warner Smashes Australia Ahead | Australia vs Pakistan 3rd Test | Day 3&4 | January 5/6, 2017

3rd Test: Pakistan vs Australia in Sydney, Jan 5/6, 2017, Cricket Highlights.
The second-fastest half-century in test history was a fine way for David Warner to signal intent, and the batsman's heroics have again propelled Australia to a position where they enter the fifth day of this Third Test looking close to victory and a tonic of a 3-0 series score. Part of the fault could be laid at the feet of a Pakistani bowling attack that was docile in part due to Mohammad Amir's injury preventing him from taking on any overs, but in the field, too, there was limited pressure from the visitors.
Matt Renshaw is out of this test due to concussion, extremely unfortunate on the youngster given his great recent form, but in his sad absence, Usman Khawaja and Warner set about the job in hand, with Khawaja finishing up on 79 not out, with Warner's 55, Steve Smith's 59 and Peter Handscomb's 40 making for a good day overall for those who had been fretting recently about the health of this team.
With Nathan Lyon on five wickets along with Josh Hazlewood, Australia have plenty of bowling options for the final day as they attempt to skittle Pakistan again.
